MARSHALL'S BEEN PLAYING IN THE SANDBOX!
The Sandbox is a space developed by BarometerXP to enable trainers and facilitators who use play-based techniques in their work to convene and hone their craft.
Marshall led a successful strategic planning workshop early this fall for a large nonprofit based in Suburban Maryland to provide staff members opportunities to review and offer perspectives on the draft plan.

Capital Philanthropy is expanding its strategic planning services capacity! Marshall is pleased to welcome his colleague Benjamin Loring who will be a senior consultant to provide additional support and expertise for strategic planning and organizational management.
Ben is an accomplished manager and advisor who focuses on transforming organizations through rigorous analysis and compelling storytelling. He has nearly 15 years of experience helping organizations address complex challenges and supporting executive decision-making.
The National Center for Family Philanthropy has published a blog post on a foundation's journey to explore and support innovation in its work and the work of its grantees. The post was co-written by Marshall and the President of the F.M. Kirby Foundation Justin Kiczek.
